So recently, my dad and sister went out to the woods behind our house to explore, or perhaps just to take a walk. And they found 2 random bones. The first one, which I think is half a jawbone from a deer, is lost inside my house.I have no idea what kind of bone this one is, nor from what kind of animal it came. I've already ruled out the possibility of it being a deer vertebrae.
Any other guesses?

it's pretty small, though. slighty smaller than a baseball.

Luke- before choosing the title, I thought about making it "if only life were...", which sounds right, but then i thought about how "life" is singular, so "was" seemed appropriate
